Can I try Kong Metrics for free?
Yes. You can create a free account with no credit card required and stay on the Free plan forever. Paid plans also include a 14-day free trial, so you can evaluate higher limits and retention before you are charged.
What is the difference between monthly and annual billing?
Annual billing gives you a 20% discount compared to monthly billing. You pay upfront for the full year and save significantly. You can switch between billing cycles at any time from your account settings.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Paddle, our payment processor. Paddle also handles invoicing and tax compliance worldwide.
Can I change plans later?
Absolutely. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your account settings. When upgrading, you get immediate access to new features. When downgrading, changes take effect at the end of your current billing period.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
When a downgrade takes effect, access to historical data and paid workflows follows the limits of the plan on your account. If you need help planning a downgrade, contact support before the billing change takes effect.
Is my data secure?
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Your Google credentials are never stored — we use OAuth tokens with minimal required scopes. All data is hosted on secure infrastructure in the EU.
Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are available within the applicable refund window based on your region (e.g. 14 days for EU/UK/Turkey). All payments and refunds are handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. We also provide a 14-day free trial on all paid plans so you can fully evaluate the Service before being charged. For full details, see our Refund Policy.
Do Enterprise plans include SSO or SAML?
Yes. SSO / SAML is available on Enterprise plans. The exact rollout timeline depends on your identity provider, required metadata, and security review needs, so sales confirms the setup path during onboarding.
Can you provide a DPA and data-processing details?
Yes. Enterprise customers can request a Data Processing Addendum and security documentation. Kong Metrics is designed around EU-hosted infrastructure, OAuth-based Google access, and least-privilege data handling.
Do you offer SLA or priority support?
Priority support is included on paid plans, and custom SLA terms are handled through Enterprise agreements. If your team needs formal response times, escalation contacts, or procurement paperwork, contact sales before purchase.
